Cleary Gottlieb partners Ethan Klingsberg and Kim Spoerri participated in the sixth annual M&A Roundtable at Kirkland & Ellis in New York on May 23 and 24.
The gathering engages in a lively and candid discussion of hot topics in M&A and activism among about 50 individuals, consisting of M&A lawyers from firms and in-house, investment bankers, proxy solicitors, public relations consultants, activist hedge fund professionals, proxy advisory firm personnel, academics, and judges. This year’s participants included Chief Justice Leo Strine of the Delaware Supreme Court and Bill Ackman of Pershing Square, among others.
