Cleary Gottlieb counsel Christy O’Connell was named a Private Equity Rising Star in the UK and Europe by Law.com International.
The publication profiled the 25 “best up-and-coming talent within the UK and Continental European legal industry” under 40.
“If delivering deals is the metric for success, then O’Connell has clearly had an impressive year,” lauded Law.com International. Christy was also noted for her work advising Cerberus Capital Management and its portfolio company My Money Group in the proposed acquisition of HSBC Continental Europe’s retail banking in France, as well as Warburg Pincus and its portfolio company Infinite Electronics in the add-on acquisition of Cambridge-headquartered Bulgin.
