Cleary Gottlieb has been shortlisted for two 2023 Private Debt Investor Awards: “Americas Law Firm of the Year – Fund Formation” and “Global Law Firm of the Year – Fund Formation.”
The firm was recognized for raising more than $50 billion for credit strategies for various companies. Cleary was noted for advising Sixth Street on nearly all fundraising activities since the fund manager’s inception more than 10 years ago, including on the formation of Sixth Street TAO, and Ares Management as lead investor in a $166 million credit asset investment vehicle sponsored by fund manager NXT Capital.
