Practice Assistant

To provide high quality secretarial support services to lawyers.  Practice Assistants will be required to work closely with other departments in the Firm to provide seamless support to their allocations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Diary management including arranging and coordinating meetings
  • Inbox management including email filing and management
  • Answering phones and taking messages
  • Client correspondence
  • Managing client contact information
  • Recording Business Development activity through Interaction
  • Arranging travel (International, domestic and local) and running travel reports
  • Event coordination
  • Making catering arrangements for meetings
  • Processing expenses through Chrome River
  • Proof reading
  • Opening New Matters and Compliance processes

 

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good systems and technical knowledge specifically with Microsoft Office suite of software
  • High levels of client service
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workflow
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
