Nuna Van Belle’s practice focuses on all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control proceedings, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, and litigation.

Nuna assists clients before the European Commission and Courts, as well as in proceedings in European member states.  Her industry experience focuses on technology, media and entertainment, healthcare data, and pharmaceuticals.

Nuna joined the firm in 2018. Prior to joining Cleary Gottlieb, Nuna worked as a legal advisor at the World Health Organization and the Global Fund (Switzerland).

  • Broadcom in its proposed $69 billion acquisition of VMware before the European Commission.

  • Google in various investigations before the European Commission and other national competition authorities, and regulatory compliance programs including in the CMA’s Privacy Sandbox investigation.

  • Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia), in which DG Competition closed its preliminary investigation of the royalty-free licensing policy of AOMedia, without further action.

  • HP Enterprise and HP Inc. in various transactions and matters. 

  • IQVIA on various antitrust matters.
