Robert T. Greig’s practice includes international arbitration and litigation, including public international law matters.

Robert is internationally distinguished by Chambers Global and Chambers Europe. According to the publications, market commentators have lauded him for his “amazing skills in arbitration.”

Robert joined the firm in 1973, became a partner in 1979 and became senior counsel in 2010. From 1992 to 2004, he was resident in the New York office; from 1987 to 1992, he was resident in the Tokyo office; and from 1982 to 1987, in the Hong Kong office.

Robert is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has served as an arbitrator in ICC and AAA arbitrations. He has written and lectured on numerous topics related to his field of specialty. He is admitted to practice before New York and Michigan state courts and to several U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal and U.S. District Courts.
