Vassilena Karadakova advises on all aspects of European and UK competition law.
Vass has significant experience in a wide range of competition and regulatory matters, including merger control, anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, and sectoral regulation. She has represented clients before the European Commission and the UK Competition and Markets Authority (and its predecessors, the Office of Fair Trading and the Competition Commission). She also has extensive experience of working with local counsel in relation to competition matters outside the EU and the UK.
Vass joined the firm in 2016. She previously worked at another major law firm in London between 2010 and 2016. In 2016, she spent six months on secondment to the Competition Team of the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
