Cleary Gottlieb Shortlisted for ALB China Law Awards 2024

Cleary Gottlieb has been shortlisted for Asian Legal Business (ALB) China Law Awards’ 2024 International Law Firm of the Year honor, and five deals on which Cleary advised have been named Deal of the Year finalists.

Cleary advised on shortlisted deals in the following categories:

• Equity Market Deal of the Year-Midsize: ZJLD’s listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
• Equity Market Deal of the Year-Premium: SharkNinja’s spin-off and listing on NYSE
• M&A Deal of the Year-Midsize: NetDragon and Mynd.ai’s merger
• M&A Deal of the Year- Premium:
  • Carlyle’s Sale of its minority stake in McDonald’s China to McDonald’s Corporation
  • CMC’s $7 billion sale of equity interests in CAA US to Artemis 

Partner Denise Shiu has also been named a finalist for the International Dealmaker of the Year award.
