Cleary Gottlieb Named a 2012 “Go-To Law Firm” in Five Practice Areas

Cleary Gottlieb has been named to Corporate Counsel’s 2012 list of Go-To Law Firms for the nation’s top 500 companies in the categories of Securities, Litigation, Intellectual Property, Corporate Transactions and International.

The Go-To Law Firms were chosen based on a national survey conducted by American Lawyer Media (ALM) of General Counsel at Fortune 500 companies, coupled with in-depth research and analysis of various resources including public records, leading publications and well-respected commercial databases. Cleary Gottlieb was named a Go-To Law Firm by 16 different companies, including Icahn Enterprises, Hewlett-Packard, Google, Abbott Laboratories, Owens Corning, McDonald’s, Honeywell, Alcoa, DuPont, Merck, Spectra Energy, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Family Dollar, Masco, Tech Data and Medtronic.

The Go-To Law Firms will be published in the Fortune 500 issue of Fortune on May 7 and in the 2012 edition of In-House Law Departments at the Top 500 Companies, published by ALM.
