Human Resources Assistant

We are seeking a HR Assistant and generalist to join our HR Team in Germany. This full-time (40 hours/week) position is based in Cologne or Frankfurt am Main with flexibility to travel to the other office frequently.

ACCOUNTABILITIES – YOUR TASKS & FUTURE

  • You are part of a Germany-wide HR team and work with colleagues and HR Manager Germany to implement uniform HR standards and utilize best practices
  • Supervision of a defined group of employees from the beginning to the end of the employment relationship
  • Preparation of documents (job references, certificates of all kinds, etc.)
  • Assist with preparation of the monthly payroll
  • Management of the Employee Life Cycle and administration of internal HRIS database/system and working time recording
  • Ensuring HR data and files are accurately maintained, reported and recorded
  • Supporting the Talent Management, Performance Management Reviews
  • Active participation in the further development of HR-relevant structures, processes and the digitalization of the HR department
  • Collaboration in HR projects

REQUIREMENTS – YOUR SKILLS & CAREER

  • A successfully completed university degree, bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification/training and first knowledge of German Labor Law or equally, first professional experience in the field of human resources
  • High level of initiative, social skills and commitment
  • Quick perception and the talent to think conceptually & analytically and to work independently & carefully
  • A service-oriented and structured way of working with high quality standards
  • Confident communication with excellent German and English skills
  • Efficient handling of MS-Office and first experience with HRIS systems
  • Organizational talent and empathetic nature in dealing with people, team spirit
  • Reliable, dynamic, flexible and open personality with high enthusiasm and passion for HR topics
