Cleary Gottlieb Alumni Pro Bono Clinic: An Evening of Public Service

Cleary Gottlieb hosted its inaugural Alumni Pro Bono Clinic: An Evening of Public Service, an event that provided over 50 individuals and nonprofit organizations with volunteer and pro bono legal assistance.

Attendees, which included Cleary lawyers and alumni, participated in one of three public service initiatives, which included orientation and training, before taking part in their assigned project. The workshops included:

• Immigration screening assistance for lawful permanent residents to help determine whether they are eligible for naturalization 
• Bylaws review and consultation with New York nonprofits
• Professional skills training for high school students
