Cleary Gottlieb’s Brussels office hosted a virtual M&A Challenge for Belgian law students in their final Bachelor year or first or second Master.
Cleary lawyers guided participants through an M&A auction process, from due diligence and deciding on a negotiation strategy, all the way through to closing. Participants were divided into teams representing either the seller or buyer in the process, and each team was coached by an experienced Cleary M&A lawyer.
