The discussion focused on the constitutional framework of U.S. federal tax legislation and on the previous tax reform under President Donald Trump. The panelists also discussed major U.S. federal tax policy options for the Biden administration—in particular with a view to current OECD projects and Germany’s tax policy, and how these may interact with major OECD projects, including digital tax.
