$1.1 Billion Bond Offerings by Southern California Edison and Edison International

Cleary Gottlieb represented the underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities, Mizuho Securities USA, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and U.S. Bancorp Investments, in Southern California Edison Company’s offering of $700 million principal amount of 4.00 percent first and refunding mortgage bonds, Series 2017A, due 2047, and the underwriters, led by Barclays Capital and Wells Fargo Securities, in the offering of $400 million principal amount of 2.125 percent senior notes due 2020 by Edison International.

Edison International is the parent holding company of Southern California Edison, a public utility primarily engaged in the business of supplying and delivering electricity to an approximately 50,000 square mile area of Southern California.
