AlphaCredit’s $400 Million Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented Barclays Capital Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, and UBS Securities LLC, as initial purchasers, in a high-yield global bond offering by Alpha Holding S.A. de C.V. (AlphaCredit).
The offering consisted of $400 million 9% senior notes due 2025 issued and sold by AlphaCredit, and was conducted as a private placement under Rule 144A of the Securities Act of 1933 and outside of the United States in reliance on Regulation S. The issuance priced on January 30, 2020, and is expected to close on February 10, 2020.
AlphaCredit is a nonbanking financial institution headquartered in Mexico City specializing in individual and small-business loans throughout Mexico and Colombia.
