Cleary Gottlieb has ranked No. 26 in The American Lawyer’s annual Pro Bono Scorecard.
In 2019, Cleary lawyers in the United States dedicated almost 65,000 hours to pro bono legal work, serving more than 580 pro bono clients in the U.S., 185+ of which were new to the firm.
The list ranks Am Law 200 firms with a pro bono score for work performed by U.S.-based lawyers. This score is calculated based on the average number of pro bono hours per lawyer and the percentage of lawyers who performed more than 20 hours of pro bono work in 2019.
