Cleary Gottlieb represented American Tower Corporation in an SEC-registered offering of $250 million aggregate principal amount of 3.40% senior notes and $500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.00% senior notes. The offering was a reopening of American Tower’s $750 million 3.40% senior notes and $250 million 5.00% senior notes issued on August 19, 2013. The offering was underwritten by a syndicate of investment banks led by Barclays Capital Inc., Goldman, Sachs & Co., RBC Capital Markets, LLC, RBS Securities Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC. The transaction priced on January 7 and closed on January 10, 2014.
