Cleary Gottlieb is representing Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. as financial advisor to Apex Silver Mines in its sale to Sumitomo of a 35% participating interest in Apex’s San Cristobal project in southwestern Bolivia and a two-year option to acquire a 35% share of certain exploration projects in Peru, Mexico, Argentina and Bolivia.
