Bank of America in Sale of Structured Investments Unit

Cleary Gottlieb is representing Bank of America in the sale of its Structured Investments business to Société Générale.  The Structured Investments unit, which is part of BofA’s Equity Financial Products division, provides customized hedging and financing to hedge funds, institutional investors, funds of funds and ultra high-net worth individuals investing in hedge funds.  The deal is expected to close before the end of the first quarter.
