BBVA to Sell Paraguayan Subsidiary to Banco GNB Paraguay for $270 Million

Cleary Gottlieb is representing Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A. (BBVA) in the sale of its Paraguayan subsidiary, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria Paraguay S.A., to Banco GNB Paraguay, a subsidiary of Grupo Financiero Gilinski, for a total consideration of approximately $270 million.

Closing of the transaction is subject to standard regulatory conditions.
