Cleary Gottlieb represented BNP Paribas, which already held 50% of the Exane Group, in its acquisition of the remaining 50% from the managers of the Exane Group.
The transaction, which received shareholders’ consent and regulatory and antitrust approvals, was signed on April 27, 2021, and closed on July 13, 2021.
The Exane Group activities include brokerage services, asset management, and derivatives products.
