Cleary Gottlieb Ranks First in Italian Deals in Mergermarket's First Half 2005 Rankings

Cleary Gottlieb Italy led the M&A legal rankings for the first half of 2005, advising on €28 billion of deals, according to Mergermarket.  The Italian offices were counsel in two of the top three mergers in the second quarter.
