Cleary Gottlieb Sweeps LatinFinance’s “Legal Services Survey” for Second Consecutive Year

LatinFinance’s “Legal Services Survey” of more than 150 lawyers and clients named Cleary Gottlieb the best international law firm in all region-wide categories for the second consecutive year. The categories are M&A, debt, equity, securitization, corporate loans, project finance loans and overall. In addition, the firm was voted the best international firm in various country-specific categories in Mexico, Argentina and Chile, and was ranked second in two categories for Brazil.

The firm was rated the best international firm in Mexico in every surveyed category, including corporate loans, project finance, debt capital markets, M&A, securitization, equity capital markets and overall. In Argentina, the firm was voted the top international firm advising on corporate loans, debt capital markets and overall. Cleary Gottlieb was voted the best international firm for corporate loan advice in Chile, and was ranked second in Brazil for advice on corporate loans and overall.

LatinFinance is a monthly magazine covering Latin American finance, investment and capital markets. The magazine named Cleary Gottlieb the “Best Law Firm” in Latin America at its 20th Anniversary Gala in 2008 and also recognized firm Managing Partner Mark Walker as the “Best Latin Financier Lawyer” over the last twenty years.
