Cleary Gottlieb has won Equity Deal of the Year at the IFLR Middle East Awards 2022 for the second year in a row.
Cleary was recognized for representing OCI N.V. and its subsidiary, OCI Fertilizers B.V., as majority shareholder and selling shareholder in Fertiglobe’s proposed IPO on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
The Fertiglobe IPO marks the first listing by an Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) company on a UAE stock exchange. The trailblazing deal has paved the way for similar listings to take place.
