Crédit Agricole in U.S. Bond Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented Crédit Agricole in the offering of two tranches of Senior Unsecured Notes in the United States under its $20 billion US Medium Term Note Program.

The total principal amount of the offering was $1.75 billion, comprised of $1.25 billion 2.750% Notes due 2020 and $500 million Floating Rate Notes due 2020. The Notes were offered for sale in the United States under Rule 144A and Regulation S under the 1933 Securities Act. The transaction, which closed on June 10, 2015, was managed by Credit Agricole Securities, BMO, J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo.
