Cleary Gottlieb acted as U.S. and English law counsel to Credit Suisse (Singapore) Limited in the secondary offering of 295 million ordinary shares in Engro Fertilizers Limited by its controlling shareholder, Engro Corporation Limited, through a block trade.
The shares were offered in the United States under Rule 144A and outside the U.S. under Regulation S. The offering priced on June 7, 2016, and closed on June 10, 2016.
Engro Fertilizers Limited is one of the largest fertilizer manufacturers in Pakistan and is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
