Cleary Gottlieb represented Fintech Energy LLC as initial purchaser in a debt offering by Genneia S.A. of its floating-rate $50 million notes due January 22, 2022.
The offering was conducted as a private placement and was targeted to Genneia’s shareholders, including, in addition to Fintech Energy, Argentum Investments I LLC, and Mr. Delfin Jorge Ezequiel Carballo. The signing and closing occurred on December 21, 2018.
Genneia is one of Argentina’s leading companies in the renewable energy sector and the owner and developer of some of the most significant renewable energy projects in Argentina, including the largest wind farm in Argentina.
