HSBC Holdings plc in $1.65 Billion Senior Debt Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented longtime client HSBC Holdings plc, one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, in its offering of $900 million 4.875% senior unsecured notes due 2022, and $750 million 6.100% senior unsecured notes due 2042. The notes will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The transaction closed on November 17.
