Cleary Gottlieb is representing JC Flowers & Co., a private equity firm dedicated to investing globally in the financial services industry, in its sale of a controlling stake in Eurovita Assicurazioni, an Italian life insurance company, to ERGO Previdenza, an insurance company controlled by private equity firm Cinven.
The agreement was signed as of April 6, and the transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2017.
