KOGAS’s $500 Million Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented BNP PARIBAS, Citigroup, HSBC, KDB, and Merrill Lynch, as joint bookrunners and joint lead managers, in connection with the update of Korea Gas Corp.’s (KOGAS) $11 billion global medium-term note program and in a Rule 144A/Reg. S offering of $500 million 2.875% sustainability notes due 2029 under the program.

The notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange. The offering priced on July 9, 2019, and closed on July 16, 2019.

Established in 1983, KOGAS is currently the sole wholesale distributor of natural gas in Korea and is one of the largest importers of LNG in the world.
