Korea Gas Corporation’s $900 Million Dual Tranche Notes Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented Korea Gas Corporation in a Rule 144A/Reg S dual tranche offering of $500 million 1.875 percent notes due 2021 and $400 million 2.250 percent notes due 2026 under its $11 billion global medium-term note program.

The offering priced on July 11, 2016, and closed on July 18, 2016, and the bonds were admitted to trading on the Singapore Exchange on July 19, 2016.

The joint bookrunners and joint lead managers were Citigroup, Credit Suisse, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking and UBS.

Korea Gas Corporation was incorporated in 1983 by the Korean government to facilitate the development of the natural gas industry in Korea. It is one of the largest importers of liquefied natural gas in the world and the only wholesale distributor of natural gas in Korea.
