Korea Southern Power’s $400 Million Notes Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented BNP PARIBAS, Citigroup, HSBC, and UBS as joint bookrunners in a Rule 144A/Reg. S offering by Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd. (KOSPO) of $400 million 3.000 percent notes due 2021.

The notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange. The offering priced on January 22, 2018, and closed on January 29, 2018.

KOSPO was established in 2001 as one of six wholly-owned generation subsidiaries of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO). KEPCO is currently the sole electricity transmission and distribution company in Korea and is listed on the NYSE.
