Leading Korean Wireless Telecom in $300 Million Debt Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented SK Telecom in its $300 million offering of 4.25% notes, which are listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.   Citigroup and Credit Suisse First Boston were the joint bookrunners, and SK Securities was a co-manager for the offering, which closed today.

SK Telecom is the leading wireless telecommunications services and wireless data and Internet services provider in Korea in terms of market share.  It is the flagship company of SK Group, the fourth-largest business group in Korea.  SK Telecom’s American Depositary Shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
