Paul Shim and Matt Salerno Named "Dealmakers of the Week" for Dollar Thrifty Deal

The AmLaw Daily selected Paul Shim and Matt Salerno as its “Dealmakers of the Week” on August 31 for their role representing Dollar Thrifty in its $2.3 billion merger agreement with Hertz Global Holdings. AmLaw noted that Hertz began its pursuit of Dollar Thrifty in 2007 and said the Cleary Gottlieb team had to “manage myriad twists and turns, juggling multiple bidders over several years before ultimately reaching an agreement.”
