Southern California Edison in $100 Million Stock Reopening

Cleary Gottlieb represented J.P. Morgan Securities as the underwriter in a registered offering by Southern California Edison Company of an additional 100,000 shares of its Series E Preference Stock, valued at $100,000,000. The company had originally issued 250,000 shares of Series E Preference Stock on January 17. The offering, a reopening of the outstanding Series E Preference Stock, closed on February 2.

Southern California Edison supplies electricity to a 50,000 square mile service area in coastal, central, and southern California.
