Three ADB Offerings Totaling $2.3 Billion

Cleary Gottlieb represented the managers, J.P. Morgan Securities, Citi Group Global Markets and HSBC in an offering by the Asian Development Bank of $2 billion principal amount of 0.75% Global Notes due July 28, 2017. The transaction priced on April 21, 2015 and closed on April 28, 2015.

Cleary also represented the manager in two recent debt offerings by the Asian Development Bank. On April 22, 2015, ADB issued $150 million principal amount of 1.50% Global Notes due January 22, 2020. On May 7, 2015, ADB issued another $150 million principal amount of 1.50% Global Notes due January 22, 2020. Both deals were led by Merrill Lynch International.

The Asian Development Bank, headquartered in Manila, Philippines, is a regional multilateral organization established in 1966. With a mission to facilitate sustainable economic development in Asia, ADB has grown to encompass 67 members since its establishment, of which 48 are from within Asia and the Pacific and 19 outside.
