Cleary Gottlieb represented Vertafore in connection with a $550 million first-lien term-loan financing arranged by Credit Suisse, as administrative agent and collateral agent, and Bank of America as syndication agent. The proceeds of this financing were used to refinance the secured first-lien term loan that closed on July 29, 2010. Vertafore is a provider of software and information to the insurance distribution channel, including independent agents, brokers, managing general agents, carriers and insurers. The transaction for the first-lien refinancing closed on February 2.
