On September 15, 2022, the Ministry of Ecological Transition adopted a new decree to provide up to €4.5 billion of State support to biomethane production through capital contributions and feed-in tariffs (the “New Biomethane Decree”).
The European Commission had cleared this aid scheme on August 8, 2022.
