Abhi Chopra advises on a broad range of restructuring, insolvency, and special situations matters, with a particular focus on situations with a cross-border element, which includes out-of-court restructurings, distressed/special situations investments, formal restructurings, and insolvent administrations.
He has experience acting for a range of stakeholders including distressed corporates, private equity sponsors, private credit funds, special situations investors, financial institutions, company directors, and insolvency practitioners.
Abhi joined the firm in 2024. Prior to joining Cleary, he trained and practiced at one of Australia’s leading independent law firms.
