John McGill’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions, particularly collateralized loan obligation (CLO) and other structured finance transactions.

His practice also includes public and private mergers and acquisitions, including significant experience advising financial institutions and private equity firms in acquisitions and divestments.

John also assists both domestic and foreign clients in addressing national security-related matters that arise in the context of transnational transactions. He has experience representing a broad-range of clients in foreign investment reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

John joined the firm in 1999.
