Paul V. Imperatore’s practice focuses on domestic and cross-border public and private mergers and acquisitions, venture capital-style minority investments, and corporate governance matters.
Paul has particular experience in transactions involving private equity firms and other financial sponsors.
Paul joined the firm in 2013 and became a partner in 2022.

- its $2.16 billion sale of Sundyne to Honeywell International;
- its acquisition, together with Vista Equity Partners, of Redwood Software;
- its equity investment in CData Software;
- its investment in Internet Brands;
- its acquisition of Sweeping Corp of America from Soundcore Capital Partners;
- its acquisition of FlexXray; and
- its acquisition of Sotera Health (formerly Sterigenics) and the subsequent $1.1 billion initial public offering of Sotera Health.

- Blackstone Life Sciences and Novo in their respective investments in Series B preferred stock of Anthos Therapeutics, and the subsequent $3.1 billion sale of Anthos Therapeutics to Novartis AG;
- Blackstone, as selling shareholder, in the initial public offering of Hamilton Insurance Group, and the repurchase by Hamilton Insurance Group, Ltd. of the entirety of Blackstone’s minority stake in Hamilton; and
- Blackstone Life Sciences in its additional $75 million investment in GRIN Therapeutics.
