Ranulf’s practice focuses on UK and EU competition law, including digital regulation, merger control, anticompetitive agreements, and abuse of dominance rules.
His experience covers several industries, including the technology, finance, utilities, and transport sectors. Ranulf has experience advising on global merger reviews and behavioural investigations, as well as competition compliance frameworks to comply with enforcement and regulatory requirements.
Ranulf joined the firm as an associate in 2020. Previously, he completed a pupillage at 4 New Square Chambers. He was seconded to HSBC’s competition team in 2022, and to Google’s competition team in 2024.
