Valerio Cosimo Romano’s practice focuses on antitrust, civil and administrative litigation, and TMT regulation.

Valerio Cosimo regularly advises clients on European and Italian competition law and commercial litigation, especially in the field of telecommunications, media, and information technology services.

Valerio Cosimo teaches Competition Law at LUMSA University and LUISS Business School and Principles of Civil Law at LUISS Guido Carli. He spent a year as Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School and one year as Research Fellow at Stanford Law School.

He has delivered conferences, lectures, and workshops in the United States, Finland, France, Spain, Poland, and Italy. His academic works appeared in the Journal of European Competition Law and Practice, European Intellectual Property Review, Competition Law Insight, European Competition Law Review, E-Competitions, Mercato Concorrenza Regole, Diritto del Commercio Internazionale, and Il Foro Italiano.

Prior to joining Cleary Gottlieb in 2016, Valerio Cosimo practiced law at another international law firm.
