Human Resources Coordinator

Cleary Gottlieb is a global law firm and we are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to strengthen our Paris team. 

As Human Resources Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of HR activities and to become a member of a dynamic and professional team in an attorney-oriented firm culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance. You will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues in other offices.  

You will report to the two Human Resources Managers based in Paris.  

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this function is:

  • To provide administrative support to ensure the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR functions and duties, including in relation to payroll, recruiting, onboarding, training, staffing, performance reviews, etc.
  • To assist in mapping HR policies and procedures and to implement approved programs relating to HR
  • To process staff information by entering and updating employment and status-change data in the relevant HR systems
  • To report on HR activities upon request
  • To organise meetings, events, trainings, surveys and general calendar management
  • To deal with staff queries regarding HR related matters
  • To provide back-up for HR team members when necessary

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor degree (preferably option HR or business administration) 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR-related activities as specified above, preferably in a legal or international business environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications
