The new Italian Insolvency Code broadened and amended interim and protection measures available to distressed debtors, thus affecting the remedies available to creditors to protect their rights, including with regard to contractual relationships with distressed counterparties. Marcello Magri and Filippo Marchetti discussed these new features of the Italian Insolvency Code from a creditors’ protection perspective.
