Cleary Gottlieb is representing A2A in the reorganization of the Daunia Wind group.
Daunia Wind manages a portfolio of wind farms in Italy with an overall capacity of 312 MW. A2A owns 50% of Daunia Wind with the other 50% being owned by Margherita (a company engaged in the construction and management of renewable energy plants).
On completion of the reorganization, A2A will have sole ownership of wind farms with a capacity of 83 MW, while Margherita will have sole ownership of the rest of the Daunia Wind assets.
This reorganization of Daunia Wind follows the acquisition by A2A, last June, of the stake in Daunia Wind and other wind and photovoltaic assets from Ardian.
