Crédito Real in Ps. 2.6 Billion IPO

Cleary Gottlieb represented Deutsche Bank Securities, Barclays Capital and Banorte Ixe Securities, as initial purchasers, in the debut global equity offering of Crédito Real. The transaction consisted of primary and secondary offerings through the Mexican Stock Exchange and pursuant to Rule 144A/Reg S in the United States and other countries outside of Mexico. The primary offering raised a total of Ps. 2.6 billion ($200.7 million).

Crédito Real is one of the leading financial companies in Mexico, with a focus on consumer lending. It offers products to the low- and middle-income segments of the Mexican population, which historically has been underserved by other financial institutions.
