Cleary Gottlieb Participates in FT Innovative Lawyers-Global Legal Hackathon in Response to COVID-19

Cleary Gottlieb lawyers have submitted two projects to the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers-Global Legal Hackathon organized in response to COVID-19.

The hackathon was created as a way for the world’s legal industry to collaborate and present “innovate solutions to the most pressing legal, regulatory, and civil society challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis.”

Cleary presented the following projects in response to distinct challenges posed by the pandemic:

• COVID-19 Policy Response Map – An interactive web-based tool to visualize and compare policy responses to COVID-19.
• Guide for Asylum Seekers in the UK During COVID-19 – A guide to help asylum seekers understand their basic rights while in the UK and to raise awareness of the services and resources available.
