Cleary Wins Three IFLR Americas Awards; Leslie Silverman Honored With Lifetime Achievement Award

Cleary Gottlieb has received three International Financial Law Review Americas Awards 2018.

Cleary was recognized with the following awards:

• Debt & Equity Linked Team of the Year
• Debt & Equity Linked Deal of the Year (for its role in Bancolombia’s Basel III subordinated notes offering, the first ever Basel III-compliant subordinated note issued by a Colombian bank)
• Restructuring Deal of the Year (for its role in Odebrecht Óleo e Gás’ successful debt reorganization, Brazil’s “largest ever” extrajudicial restructuring and winner of Latin Lawyer’s 2018 “Restructuring Deal of the Year”)

In addition, Cleary senior counsel Leslie Silverman was presented with IFLR’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his work representing both issuers and underwriters in domestic and international capital markets.

The IFLR Americas awards ceremony celebrates the “most innovative cross-border Americas transactions, and the teams and firms that advised on them.”
