FEMSA in $1.5 Billion Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented Fomento Económico Mexicano S.A.B. de C.V. (FEMSA) in an offering of $1.5 billion 3.5% senior notes due 2050.

The offering was an SEC-registered takedown, and the notes will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

BofA Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC acted as underwriters for the transaction. The transaction priced on January 13, 2020, and closed on January 16, 2020.
